THE CALCULATION OF MOUNTING STRESSES IN THE HINGEROD SYSTEM USING THE METHOD OF FINAL ELEMENT

The paper shows that it is impossible to to provide the optimal size of landing system components when the installation of metal structures is organized in real conditions. In terms of redundancy of the system design elements so-called mounting tension appears. The presence of such strains is due to the material properties of the element (the rod), manufacturing inaccuracies, resizing of heating or cooling, and the links in the nodes of another element. In the process of applying the finite element method to calculate the stresses generated during the installation of a statically indeterminate hinged-rod systems of any configuration was used by the original authors of the program for the formation of stiffness matrix of the system and study of stress-strain state.
