Abstract

Creating products with a high share of value added allows you to accumulate additional funds, which is a source of growth and development of the enterprise in the long run. Therefore, the development of a strategy for the development of agricultural enterprises based on the improvement of the value chain is becoming especially important. The aim of the work is to form a strategy for the development of agricultural enterprises by developing measures for the production of products with high added value. To achieve this goal, the following methods were used: logical-theoretical generalization, analysis and synthesis, statistical analysis, analysis of time series. Using the analysis of time series, a study of the level of prices in the domestic and international markets for food and grain, in particular. It has been found that as a result of significant price fluctuations of up to 80-50%, farmers may lose part of their profits, or, conversely, take advantage of more favorable price conditions - to gain additional profits. Measures for the formation of the strategy of the agricultural enterprise are proposed, which allow to take into account the peculiarities of the value chain of its products. They consist in the organization of storage and finishing of grain, in order to sell them during the year at more favorable prices, as well as processing of raw materials and sales of finished products with higher added value
