THE INFLUENCE OF THE SIZE OF THE GROOVE OF THE ROTOR ON THE VALUE OF THE STARTING TORQUE SQUIRREL-CAGE INDUCTION MOTOR

The article is devoted to the justification of the shape and size of the rotor slot squirrel cage induction motor designed for driving mechanisms with pulsating loads, as well as the mechanisms operating in the intermittent mode. A significant impact on the amount of starting torque has a surface effect, which is enhanced by increasing the height of the rotor groove and reduce the area in the upper part. In a specific example, the analysis of the influence of the motor rotor slot size trapezoidal tapering at the top, the value of the starting torque of the engine for different induction values at the narrowest part of the rotor tooth.
