ECONOMIC VALUE OF IMPROVING THE COMPETITIVENESS OF TOURISM ENTERPRISES OF KHMELNYTSKY

The author of the article made a study of the physical condition of a number of tourist objects in the Khmelnytsky region with a view to popularizing them and creating a high image of a tourist product that is competitive both domestically and abroad. The information base of the empirical study was the data of the State Tourism and Resort Service, according to which 155 tourist enterprises operate in the region, including 10 tour operators and 145 travel agents. Within the region there are more than 2500 monuments of history and archeology, 1104 objects of architecture. As a source of information on the financing of tourist sites, Goskomstat data, analysis of non-financial reporting, posted on official websites were used. The research method is based on theoretical developments and scientific tools, which includes content analysis, a method of observation and an analytical method. In addition, the author used a number of scientific sources and works on the studied problem of leading domestic scientists, as well as the specifics and specificity of the activities of tourist enterprises. The study analyzes the influence of factors in these objects. Attention is drawn to the need to increase their competitiveness to provide necessary services to tourists, who are constantly growing. The study identified the need to increase investment in the tourism industry in the Khmelnitsky region. A successful solution of this problem will help to increase the competitiveness of the tourist industry of Khmelnitsky and raise it to a higher stage of economic developmentReferences
