Abstract

The study of agricultural service cooperatives in rural communities gives grounds to assert that only a small part of them operate efficiently in the current economic conditions. In view of the above mentioned the author substantiates the need for a business planning of economic activities of agricultural service cooperatives. The study is based on the generally accepted method for drawing up business plans and calculated using business calculator. The result of the proposed business project is seen as the effective functioning of the cooperative in the rural community; which eventually will improve the competitiveness of enterprises of the cooperative sector. Business project allows considering the needs of members-owners of the cooperative association in services and capabilities of the cooperative to meet these needs. Approbation of the proposed model in practice will facilitate the development of higher level cooperative structures
